Imaging a DL380 G3 with a G4 image
Has anyone successfully imaged a DL380 G3 with an image from a DL380 G4? I am actually attempting a file system restore of a G4 onto the G3. I then delete the SCSI driver and apply the CPQ support pack. Everytime I try, after applying the support pack and reboot, on the way back up the G3 immediately blue screens and reboots before I can even see the memory dump. ANy suggestions are appreciated.

well this imaging process is nor valid anyhow.
To check error what we can do is disable asr then check it.
Or else boot though smartstart then check the IML log for any bugcheck error there.
