Insight Manager on DC's Server 2012

Insight Manager on DC's Server 2012

I am trying to setup monitoring on a couple of Server 2012 Domain Controllers. The monitoring software I have uses SNMP and Insight Manager.

Unfortunately I am unable to install Insight Manager on the DC's due to the fact it won't install SQL on a DC. Is there any way of setting up SNMP traps to monitor the server hardware similar to what Insight Manager uses.

Why don't you install sim on a virtual? Or you could configure the agents to send an email adress. Look at the HP Insight Event Notifier. For any HP SIM question you can post your question in this forum  http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/ITRC-HP-Systems-Insight-Manager/bd-p/itrc-455#.VWjGGG51HMI
