Install new Smart Array 6402 in ML570 G2 Server

I have a Proliant ML570 G2 server which originally came with 6 34GB drives in one drive bay. I want to add 6 additional drives to the second drive bay. I will be completely rebuilding the server so loosing data on the original drives is not an issue. The server came with a Smart Array 642 B controller which did not support this. HP instructed me to purchase a 6402/128MB controller which we did. Now I want to install it (physically) and I cannot find any documentation. I have an open ticket with HP but so far they cannot provide me with instructions (go figure). Anyway, I need to know which cable goes where. Originally the SCSI A hooked into the 642B controller. Now where do I find SCSI B and do I need SCSI B. I have removed the fans and I don't see another SCSI cable that is free that would reach the 6402. I would like to know how do I connect this up.

OK, I have the original SCSI cable (the one attached to Cage A) attached to the new controller. I attached a new SCSI cable to the open SCSI port A on the backplan and attached that to the second SCSI port on the 6402 Smart Array. Now when I boot with Smart Start the ACU does not see the drives in cage B.

No, you need to attach the cable to the second port of SA-6402 AND to the SCSI backplane of the second SCSI HDD cage (cages A & B are NOT interconnected) This document might be useful:

Re: Install new Smart Array 6402 in ML570 G2 Server

OK, I ended up talking with HP Tech Support and we figured it out. The SCSI cable that was attached to cage B was tied back under the system board and we were not able to access it until I pulled out the system tray. Once the system tray was out it was clear what was going on. Blue SCSI to cage A and Yellow SCSI to cage B (it was tied back and inaccessible). SCSI port B on the system board was occupied by a SCSI cable to the Backup Drive which I disconnected.
