Install Windows Server 2016 On ProLIant DL380p Gen8

Hello

I have ProLIant DL380p Gen8 with windows server 2008 .. I’m trying to upgrade it to windows 2016 with CD boot .. any ideas .. it’s already configured RAID 1 +0 with 4 logical drive .. do I need to deleted and re configure it again to install the W2016 ??

This server supports WS2016, installation via CD should be fine.

Have you tried to install OS via Intelligent Provisioning?

Yes, please do clear configuration and freshly install Windows 2016.

Is it mandatory to upgrade from 2008 to 2012 then to 2016 .. If there’s any guidance it would be more helpful..
