Re: installation of windows 2000
What type of configuration do you have on this system (controller, drives...)?
Can you verify the serial number? It doesn't seem to be right.

Re: installation of windows 2000
To problem is that setup doesn't load the proper scsi driver, even when you have selected F6 in the setup menu.
Boot the server with the SmartStart 4.6X or higer, the proper version comes shipped with the server, else download it from compaq.
In the menu you're given three ways of OS installation, the third "Manual setup" will still not load the correct driver, but when you choose the first option "Guided setup?" it will load it.
System Erase might be asked to erase previous setup attemps!

Re: installation of windows 2000
The windows 2000 server installation doesn't work correctly with the downloaded Compaq SCSI drivers for Windows 2000. I called compaq and they had me use an Older NT 4.0 SCSI driver when installing Windows 2000 Server.
During the setup press F6 to install a third party driver. Insert your NT 4.0 Compaq SCSI driver disk. It will accept it and continue on. The CPQ32FS2.DLL had a date stamp of 1/18/2001. The CPQ32FS2.SYS had a date of 3/8/2001.
