Installing an additional SCSI Card
Installed and Adaptec 3960 card for the tape backup unit. It is recognized and installed, but, as well as the onboard NVDIA card, but, after it gets past the F10/F12 option screen it stops. Doesn't get to windows 2003 sbs. When I take the card out, it works fine. This card and tape drive worked fine in the DELL I took it out of. THANKS!

Server Model? Tape unit model? F/W versions?
IML logs?
Just because a card works in a DELL doesn't mean it's supported in an HP/Compaq Proliant.
Not a lot of information. So you won't get much help.

Re: Installing an additional SCSI Card
Server is an ML115 G5 with an on-board array controller for a raid5 setup. Tape drive is an HP, but, I disconnected the tape drive and still get the same issue, so it isn't the tape drive, but some setting, somewhere where the scsi card and NVDIA controller are conflicting.
