Installing DVD Burner in HP Pavilion

I am trying to install a DVD burner in my HP Pavilion. I do not have my manual with me. No problem getting into the computer. However, once I'm in I can't get to the drive currently in there to remove it. I'm sure there is a better way than I know to get to the drive in order to remove it. Please advise.

Thank you,
Chuck

Re: Installing DVD Burner in HP Pavilion

Hi

The server manual will be available on the HP website and to install the CD drive it is real simple open the side door and then you have to remove 2 screws to slide the whole cage out(which would have cd drive's hard drive and floppy drive, most of them, there is no model number mentioned for this) after that you can remove the screws for the drive and replace it.
