Installing OS via USB key during Smart Start Assisted Install
During assisted integration, there is an option to provide the Windows media via USB memory stick using a CD image. When I select the image on my USB stick, it says it is an invalid image. Where can I find documentation on what is needed here?

There doesn't seem to be a lot of documentation on this other than what is in the release notes for 7.6 where it was introduced from what I see.
It should support .iso (ISO 6990) files. The problem is HP only certifies that 512mb "HP" usb keys will work and the .iso files usually go over that 512mb.
What version of Smartstart are you using and what type of image are you using?
You could always try to output the OS media onto usb key using this utility:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/24828.html
