Installing problem: Windows 2000 to Proliant ML350p Gen8
Hello guys,
Can you please help me how can I install Windows 2000 to Proliant Ml350p Gen8? Im encountering this blue screen errorwhenever i attempt to reformat:
*** STOP: 0x0000001E (Oxc0000005, 0xBFF9B680, 0X00000000, 0x00000000)
*** Address BFF9B680 base at BFF7A000, Date Stamp 382a167a - acpi.sys
Also, If i attampt to do F6 (Install third party Drive) it gives me feedback "Setup could not determine the type of one or more mass storage devices installed in your system etc. So if i press the "s" key to determine the device it gives me another error "An unexpected error (0) occured at line 962 in D:\nt\private\ntos\boot\setup\oemdisk.c.". I also tried selecting ahci from bios boot, i only have 2 choices, Legacy and AHCI and Legacy does not work either. I have 3 hard disks on server and it was setup as raid 1.
Please help.
Thank you.

Re: Installing problem: Windows 2000 to Proliant ML350p Gen8
Dear Suman,
Thank you for your reply. You're right gen8 servers does not support Win serv 2003 and 2000 but if there's any way i can do to install the windows serv 2000 on a gen 8 server i hope someone share a solution.
I need Windows Server 2000 because i have a software called Brewmaxx ver 6 and I must install it before i upgrade it to windows 2003 then install its latest ver 7.12 Brewmaxx. I was only able to install windows server 2003 but ofcourse i failed to isntall almost all of its drivers but i happened to make a way to install a network adapter driver to it together with the brewmaxx ver7 and sql and it worked just fine.
Is there really no other way to install windows server 2000 to gen 8 server?
Thank you,

How about a virtual machine?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Installing problem: Windows 2000 to Proliant ML350p Gen8
Hi Trosten,
We will definitely try your idea but that would be our last resort since we preffer not to use virtual machine. Anyway, I wonder if there's still other way.
Thank you very much,
