installing the ig capacity Hard drive

Hello, All. Can anybody tell me the follows: the EXACT name and EXACT place, where to take from, of the needful files to install HDD 8Gb|10Gb (and much more) in my Prosignia VS. I suppose that I need to upgrade my bios by ROMPaq, but I don't know what is correct. help, please!!!
