installing W7 in HHPE ML30 GEN10 E-2234 1P 16G 4LFF
Hello all,
Due to a critical service, I am forced to temporarily install Windows 7 64bits on an HPE ML30 GEN10 E-2234 1P 16G 4LFF server.
Before start with the installation, I'd like to make sure that it's possible to do this, or if I'm going to run into RAID recognition issues, drives, or other incompatibility issues.
Has anyone done something similar?

Re: installing W7 in HHPE ML30 GEN10 E-2234 1P 16G 4LFF
Hi,
Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 share the same core OS, W7 may run if the Server support 2008 R2 and I have done this.
But your Server Model did not Support Server 2008 R2 and so you will not get any Driver from HPE.
Maybe, Windows included a Driver who recognizes the Hardware.
Better to change to older Hardware (Gen9).
Check this: Windows Server Certification and Support | Hewlett Packard Enterprise (hpe.com)
