Re: Installing Windows SBS2003 onto ML150 G3 server
Re-flashed the BIOS on the motherboard - even though it was the same revision - and hey presto - it works.
I now have a RAID 1 500GB in Windows and the monitoring software is working.
Phew!

Re: Installing Windows SBS2003 onto ML150 G3 server
Happy days mate! Well done. It seems that these niggly little problems aren't that well advertised by HP. I'm sure it's the same for all other types of servers. It just seems that they wait for us NetMan's to find the problems and then try to resolve them ourselves.

Re: Installing Windows SBS2003 onto ML150 G3 server
hi Ivor Shepcar
you know we have same situation, RAID 1, and when Windows prepares to select partition to install I have 2 logical drive.
even windows is installed and we can see the 2 HDDs.
we tried your reflash system ROM and did not work, downgrade, no, clear CMOS, no.
any other idea?
regards

Re: Installing Windows SBS2003 onto ML150 G3 server
If you have 2 drives at the partition selection screen then the f6 drive is wrong.
Have you tried the driver link above - it worfked for me.
Incidently. RAID 10 worked for a while but after a reboot windows staerted to blue screen and loop - even after a new build.
So back to RAID 1 - working still
