installing wndows server 2008



hi guys? i would like to share this issue with you guys , since i replaced all failure hard drive of my dl 380 g5 i face an silly issue which i cannot countue to install the windows 2008 sbs, when i insert the smart cd v 8.4 then do the next steps it will ask for operating system, then when i insert the sbs 2008 its says the disc not contain the operating system .

i heard from hp support you might downgrade the smart cd ? but version 7.70 not supporting dl 380 g5 !!!!!!!


please advice me guys

Did you try a 8.3 cd? or a 8.2?

Is your SBS media original MS Media? or a copy?

What is the operating system language?
Regional language could be the problem.
