Integrated Management Log Viewer Out of date in version control

I have a few servers that have been upgraded to support pack 7. The version control agent is still showing the HP ProLiant Integrated Management Log Viewer for Windows 2000/Server 2003 as being out of date, when it has already been updated.

Even when the update for the log viewer is run manually it says the software is already up to date, but version control agent thinks different.

Hello Bec,

Just make sure that current ProLiant Support Packs are detected and cataloged, upgrade to Version Control Repository Manager Version 2.0.0.50 (or later), which is available on SmartStart Release 6.40 or downloadable as Smart Component CP003622 from the following URL:

Hi Sunil,

I am still having the same problem. We are running the lastest VC agent and I have uploaded the Version 7 support pack again and the servers still think they are running the previous version of the software. Doesn't matter if we run the install from Insight Manager or manually, same result. Version Control doesn't seem to recognise that it has been updated.

I have attached a screen shot.

Any other ideas?

Hello Bec,
Apparently, SP2 upgrade should resolve this issue. I shall let you know if I hear something else about it.
