Re: Intel Ambient Temperature -128 °C???
Hi Grand,
This error is due to the BIOS firmware, seems to be that the firmware on new system board is too low, update the firmware to resolve this issue:
Online ROM Flash Component for Windows x64 - HP ProLiant DL320 G6/ML330 G6 (W07) Servers:
http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=3929672&swItem=MTX-f580eaa67bd644a9b46ad141f0&prodNameId=3929673&swEnvOID=1113&swLang=13&taskId=135&mode=5
you can also see the Fix available at 30 Oct 2009 version--- "Resolved an issue where the ambient temperature is not displayed properly during system boot if the ambient temperature is below 0 Degrees Celsius. This issue only affects the display of the temperature on the screen during boot and does not affect operation of the system."
Regards,
Murali Mohan
