iomega usb external drive not detected on a ML350

I have a ML350 G4 winth Windows 2000 server SP4. WHen I connnect an 1 year old USB 2.0 iomega 160GB, the disc is well dectected. But when I replace it with a new formatted USB 2.0 iomega disc of 200GB, the device is not detected and does'nt apprear in 'Computer management/disk management'.
Any idea?

have you check you device manager? to check if you got an unknown device there?
