Is the iLo Hardware replaceable on a Gen6?

Is a Gen6 Proliant iLo hardware upgradeable ? If so can an iLo2 be replaced with an iLo4?

I don't think you can upgrade from iLO2 to iLO4 since the iLO is a chip buit into the motherboard.
