Is the Nvidia A10 compatible with a DL360 and/or DL380 Gen 9?
Hi everyone,
After searching google and this forum, It seems there is an adapter that is required to be purchased and some individuals were expereicing possible heat issues. Can anyone confirm the items to check to ensure compaitability before I move forward in purchasing a card for this server. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
1: Is a riser as derbied in page 6 required? https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/c04346229.pdf?jumpid=in_lit-psnow-getpdf
2: Any concerns with having insuffient power?
3: Any one have any issues with heat when adding a GFX card?
A10 card runs PCIe4 which appears to be an avilable slot for the riser. Anything to look out for?
Thanks again for any feedback.

Hi @EchoMichaelChar ,
Please refer to this document for the supported servers and compatibility. It might help.

Re: Is the Nvidia A10 compatible with a DL360 and/or DL380 Gen 9?
Thank you so much Greeshma21,
This was super helpful. After reviewing the document it seems to only know what is compatiable with Gen10/11/12 for the most part. Do you have the document to show what indeed would work with a Gen9 DL360/DL380?
[Below reflects on page 3 of your document showing that this card is only compatable with a Gen10 DL380, and not a Gen9 360/380.]
