Low level format mistake
Hello all,
While setting up a dl380 (2 X 750Gb raid 1) I, for some reason click on format hard drive in the HP Embedded SATA Setup window.
It is currently progressing a 1% per hour and I estimate 100 hours to complete.
Under the window is a “Press to abort”
Can I safely abort this and let the OS install take care of this?

Re: Low level format mistake
No problems.
You may need to repair/rebuild the RAID array since a low level format would remove the drive from the mirror.
But the OS should manage from there.
