memorry error
hello,
i have new server that i install the new memories but when i turn on the server i have a problem like blow error ,,
please help me to solve this problem ,,,,i know the memory has a problem but i want to know how can i solve this problem ...
The Message Error...
Invalid memory configuration.unsopported DIMM in processor 1 socket 3.
This DIMM doesn’t support thermal monitoring. A less efficient cooling solution with fans running at higher speeds will be utilized to allow the system to operate with this DIMM installed.
Advanced memory protection mode: advanced ECC support.
Redundant ROM detected. This system contains a valid back up system ROM.
Intel ambient temperature!ZIC/69F

Hi,
It would be better to mention the server model and DIMM part number that you are using.
Regarding the error you mentioned
This DIMM does not support thermal monitoring...
A less efficient cooling solution with fans running at higher speeds will be utilized to allow the system to operate with this DIMM installed.
Possible Cause: Unsupported DIMMs are installed that do not contain a temperature sensor. All supported
DIMMs for this platform include internal temperature sensors.
Action: See the server documentation for supported DIMMs. Install only DIMMs supported by the server.

Could be a mixup of dimms as well ( udimm&rdimm ) , let us know the model number of the server and part numbers of the dimms that you are using
