Memory bank size sequence?
When installing different sized memory modules in different memory banks, keeping each bank matched of course, is there benefit of ordering the banks in any particular sequence? If so, what is the best configuration to use?
For example, if we have a bank of 64's, a bank of 128's, and two banks of 256's, is there a benefit to installing the 256's in the first two banks (sockets 1-8) or does it make no difference?

Doesn't really much difference unless you are mixing sizes. Check the expansion chart:
