Memory compatibility with DL385
Anyone know if DIMMs with 487005-061 (spare 487945-001) are compatible with DL385s? We've had over a 70% failure rather on them, where the check memory lights come on the front panel of any server they're installed in.

Re: Memory compatibility with DL385
Since your other posts refer to a DL385 G5 I'm just guessing that's the model you are asking about here.
Have you updated the system ROM? There are known memory related BIOS issues

Re: Memory compatibility with DL385
Even with the latest firmware (2009.07.11) the low power memory (487945-001) simply doesn't work most of the time in DL385 G2, G5, or DL585 G2 systems we've tried. The regular power memory (432670-001) has worked every time.
