Memory Error Messag
My insight manager reports the following error message :-
The error being reported in the event log is:
Event ID: 2048
Type: Warning
Category: (8)
Description: Component: Host Insight Agent Error: Unable to allocate memory. Cause: This indicates a low memory condition. Rebooting this system will correct this error.
Does anyone know what this is and how to cure it, a reboot does solve the problem for 1 or 2 weeks then it comes back again.

Re: Memory Error Messag
I have experienced the same errors. Compaq suggest you update to the latest firm ware to solve this problem. I have tried this but this seemed to prolong the problem. Instead of re booting every two to three weeks. I re boot every month or two. If you find something different let me know.
