Memory preformance
I am planning to have 8GM memory for this server.
Could you explain me whether there is a considerable performance issue between using 1GM memory instead of 2GB or 4GB cards?
If I use 2GB cards instead of 1GB , there is a chance to expand memory later. Otherwise it will fill up all memory slots.
Thanks

Re: Memory preformance
You may use the either 1 or 2 GB DIMMs(which ever are less expensive for u). DL140 G3 can go up to 32GB of memory with 4GB DIMMs.

Re: Memory preformance
As per the Quick specs, ALL Compatible DIMMs for this server are PC2-5300 FullyBuffered DIMMs. Hence no performance related issues.
:) Regards.
