Mismatched Power Supply ProLiant ML 350 gen 10
Hello everyone! Recently ran into a problem:"09/29/2021 13:02:18 280: Mismatched Power Supply Installed ACTION:If running a redundant configuration be sure that all of the power supplies in the system have the same spare part number and are supported by the server." with ProLiant ML350 Gen10. Please, advise what solution is there besides replacing the power supply?

Re: Mismatched Power Supply ProLiant ML 350 gen 10
Mixing of power supplies is not a supported configuration even if have the same Watts.
Must be of the same output and efficiency rating. If non-matched power supplies are inserted you will get errors and operation will fail.
So its neccesary to have both power supplies with the same spare number.

Re: Mismatched Power Supply ProLiant ML 350 gen 10
Hello,
Please refer to the HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen10 Server Maintenance and Service Guide, the caution note on page 61 for power supplies..
From this observation, it is recommended to match the installed power supplies. Apart from this, there appears to be no other solution such as updating firmware etc to resolve this issue.
Regards,
