Mix and match menory

Hi Team,

I need to upgrade a Proliant ML360G8 with a second CPU.  Currently the server has 16GB of RAM as 4 x 4GB DDR3 EEC Registered.

Because the 4GB stick are EoL with most vendors, can I get a 16GB stick for the second CPU - therefore mixing the config entirely, or must I find 4GB sticks only ?
