Hi there!
Is there any hardware diagnostic tool for Proliant ML350 G4? One of our servers is hanging (not responsive, but still turned on) kind of randomly, even in times where it's really not doing nothing at all... using the monitorization data and system logs there's no apparent reason for it to be hanging, so i suspect hardware faults. Is there any hardware diagnostics tool to check the memory, cpu, MBoard, etc?
Thanks in advance,
Tiago

Hi!
You can run the HP Insight Diagnostics. In order to run that tool you need to boot the server using an HP SmartStart CD. After booting the server with the CD, you will have three options. You need to select "Maintain Server" and then "Diagnose server" or "Insight Diagnostics". You can run a complete hardware test and it will tell you if there is a defective component.
