ML 570G3 Server Memory Upgrade
We have ML570 G3 server currently with 4GB (8x512) dimm in memory board. New to slot limitation of max of 8 slot in memory board, I have another newly purchased memory Kingston 4GB (4x1GB) specifically for HPML570, is it possible to replace the 4 512MB dimm in me memory board and replace it with 4x1GB dimm and have a total of 6GB memory? This is to have the additional memory in place until I have extra memory board to install all 8x512MB in one board and 4x1GB in another board. Please enlightened me on on this, just to make sure before I do upgrade the memory.
Thanks,
Jun
