ML110 G5 doesn't support large harddisks?
Hi,
I've just installed two new WD30EZRX (3 Tb) harddisks in my ML110 G5 server, however, both are identified by the BIOS and the SATA EMBEDDED RAID tool as 802 Gb harddisk only... I've tried to change the settings in the BIOS, but that doesn't work.
Any suggestions?
Cheers,
Bas

Re: ML110 G5 doesn't support large harddisks?
Hi,
According to the quickspecs of this server http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12867_na/12867_na.HTML
It supports Non-Hot Plug SATA (4 x 2TB).
My suggestion is to try updating BIOS firmware and see if new firmware has any fix for this, else the server does not support large disks.
Thanks
I work at HPE
