ML110 G5 Smartstart CD - Intel RAID controller

When using the Smartstart CD to set up the server, it cannot find an Intel RAID controller which it obviously thinks should be there and doesn't allow any further setup for the SATA drives. Based on the fact that the drivers for the Microsoft 2003 OS family appear to be Adaptec drivers suggesting and Adaptec controller(?), is there a way round this or, even better, an updated Smartstart CD?

The Intel controller has an Adaptec chipset, in RAID mode it uses Adaptec drivers.

Download the SATA RAID driver for Windows and install Windows without using the SmartStart assisted install

Re: ML110 G5 Smartstart CD - Intel RAID controller

Installing windows and using the Windows driver isn't the problem - I want to install Novell 6.5 and, I assume, because the Smartstart CD thinks there isn't an Intel controller in the server, Novell 6.54 thinks that there isn't a storage controller.
