ML110 G6 - w2k3 Installation with RAID fails because of storport.sys

Hi,

I am trying to install w2k3 on a brand new ML110 G6.

Without RAID the installation is working, with RAID I get a bluescreen with the Setup-CD:

driver_irql_not_less_or_equal
STOP 0x000000D1
storport.sys - Address ...

The Firmware on the Server ist up-to-date and I have the newest driver for the RAID.

The problem is, I want to install SBS 2003 (First version, without SP or R2).

With w2k8 is it working, but not with the first version of w2k3.

You are getting this error because SP is not integratred in SBS 2003 which has some updated drivers or fixes for RAID.

You can see that SP1 has some updates for storport drivers http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824721
