ML110 G7 Wake On Lan
Hi
I am trying to look for a definite answer on whether I can wake up an ML110 G7? I have seem old post where other users have asked the same question but have not received any answer.
Wake On Lan is enabled in the BIOS (default) and on my network card. On the network card, in advanced properties I could not see any options for Wake On Lan but on the Power Management Tab the options to wake up this device and wake up with magic packet were ticked, again all default.
I tried waking up the server without success, was wondering anyone else managed it and if they did anything differently?
Ta

Re: ML110 G7 Wake On Lan
Hi,
Try updating the BIOS and the Network card drivers and see if that fixes WOL issue.
Thank You!

Re: ML110 G7 Wake On Lan
I hae not managed to resolve the issue but what I do is connect to the ILO and power on the server that way. It is actually a better method as I wanted to be able to power on the server remotely over the wan.
