ML110 G9 hdd noise
Hello,
I'm experiencing high HDD noise with my ML110 G9. Is there something that could be done to lower the noise?
My setup:
ML110 G9
HP Dynamic Smart Array B140i Controller - using RAID mode
4x HPE 1TB 6G SATA 7.2K rpm LFF (3.5in) SC Standard (858594-B21)
Windows Server 2016
Thank you!

Re: ML110 G9 hdd noise
Are you sure it is drive noise vs fan? If the former, I would think it would be starting to fail.

Re: ML110 G9 hdd noise
Yes I'm sure its HDD.
Fan noise gets significantly lower after boot. HDD noise, kind of 'crackling' continues even after OS booted.
All HDD tests are passed as green.
Does anybody else experience this issue? Any suggestions?
Thank you.
