ML150 G5 doesn't load drivers

I have had a persistent issue with my ML150 G5s running Server 2008. When MS pushes out critical updates that require a reboot, 30% of the time one of my servers doesn't load a driver. It's usually the NIC or Chipset. The drivers are all up-to-date, from HP, and it appears to be somewhat random, but causes issues because these are my DCs. Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions?
