ML150 Video Card install- 2MB video card does not support resolutions required
I'm setting up an ML150 with some dental imaging software that requires a minimum video resolution of 1024x768x24. The ML150 we purchased only supports 1024x768x16. The application will not install on the server unless the server meets the minimal requirements. We attemted to install several PCI based video cards on the server, however that solution causes the server to freeze. Is there any possible workaround besides having to RMA the server?

Re: ML150 Video Card install- 2MB video card does not support resolutions required
David I personally had experience with several dental applications, on the older ProLiant servers. Compare to G1 and G2 with 8MB, G3 made only with 2MB. I know it could be a problem for some graphical requirements. In my case I had to install RILOE II card (video 8MB), as there was no option to send servers back and Problem solved. Unfortunately RILOE II can't be used with ML150G3.
Along you tried few PCI Video card, there should be some that would works fine.
I looked over other servers quick specs
ML310 G3 and ML310 G4 Use
Integrated ATI ES1000 Video Controller with 16-MB SDRAM Video Memory
Worth to try ?
