ML310 G2 install error "long mode"
We have a ML310 G2 and we're trying to run the SmartStart cd. After it loads we receive this error. "Your CPU does not support long mode. Use a 32 bit distribution". We are using the 32 bit distribution. Just for kicks we tried the 64 bit distro and got the same error. Every google search I try comes back with some VirtualBox error, I don't know what that is and we're not trying to run it. Any ideas?

Re: ML310 G2 install error "long mode"
Hi,
As per my knowledge this error occurs when x86/64 media is booted on a Proliant server that does not contain a 64-bit capable processor.
I guess ML310 G2 does not support 64bit processor.
You can try a Smart Start CD version not more than 8.30
Thanks
