ML310 G3 EMBEDDED SATA RAID PROBLEM

I have some problem with an PROLIANT ML310 G3.
IS the first time that i use HP SATA RAID CONTROLLER.

I have a configuration with 2 SATA 160 Gb HDU.
I want use the EMBEDDED SATA RAID controller for make a RAID-1 volume.
I have enabled the EMBEDDED SATA RAID , and set the CONTROLLER IPL ORDER to boot first INTETL 82801GR SATA RAID CONTROLLER.

I have configured the RAID-1 ARRAY , select array as bootable , and choose the CLEAR for initializing volume.
It warn for "initialize may request FEW HOURS , but i think that 20 HOURS estimated ( 1 % every 12 minutes ) is very excessive ...
It's normal this very long time ?? ( first problem )

I have no much time to wait .
I have deleted the array and create new array , using the QUICK FORMAT.
It's warn that QUICK FORMAT need to execute the VERIFY W/FIX to make DRIVE CONSISTENT.
What means ? how i can execute VERIFY W/FIX ( second problem )

I have booted with SMARTSTART 7.51 , and it warn - There is no bootable drive configured on this system - boot controller : intel corp. unknow device 27c3
Is supported SATA EMBEDDED RAID CONTROLLER by SMART START 7.51 ?? ( third problem )
And latest ... I need to install WINDOWS SBS 2003 PREMIUM R2 ITALIAN.
Is supported by SMART START 7.51 ??


PS : I have already update the BIOS to latest version.

Someone can help me ?? and excuse me for my poor english writing....

If raid is enabled OS should be installed manually and Smart Start assisted installation won't work.
