ML310 G5 - Win2008Srv Sata Driver RESOLUTION
After a of day of trying to install Windows 2008 Server without any success we finally cracked it this morning.
Our scenario:
ML310 G5 - Part Number: 445341-035
Windows 2008 Server R2 DVD 64bit only
Working Embedded Sata Driver:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?swItem=MTX-65ce03eee7214185b31d260202
Using the above combination, we were sucessfully able to create a RAID1 array with a hotspare and install Windows 2008 Server.
During the Windows setup, select the driver from within the AMD directory.

Note: HP, please please please take note and submit an article for other HP users. We spent a long time on the phone with your techies who could not help. The forums are riddled with people having the same problem. Do something about it!
