ML310 Memory
Hi all,
My ML310 (P4 2Ghz motherboard part no. 287176-001)has only 128Mb of RAM (DDR PC2100 ECC double-sided).
I have 4 sticks of 512Mb (DDR PC3200 ECC single-sided)but the server won't boot with them in.
Is this because they arn't double-sided or because they are PC3200's?
128Mb part no: 261582-031 (Compaq)
512Mb part no: 378028-851 (HP) (Hard to read, maybe wrong)
Help?

Re: ML310 Memory
Murray,
these should be the right Option for your Server
512-MB PC2100 Registered ECC DDR SDRAM DIMM Memory Kit
287496-B21 512-MB PC2100 Registered ECC DDR SDRAM DIMM Memory Kit
Cheers

Re: ML310 Memory
The ML310 needs registered memory. It's not very clear were your 512 MB mem comes from. The product number does not exist. If it's memory for an Opteron server, it will be registered. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure it isn't.
