ML350 and WIndows 2003 server installation
I have a ML350 with win2000 server and I have to crash it completly and install win2003 server (a Microsoft one, not from an HP cd).
I've used the smartstart CD (6.40B) , I've created my RAID 5 configuration, but when smartstart proposes me the OS, the only choices I have is win2000 server or win2003 server "HP Brand". I tried to insert my own CD but it is not recognized.
If I boot on my Microsoft CD, my disk is not recognised and I can't continue my installation.
Where is the problem and how can I solve it ?
Thx for your help.

Re: ML350 and WIndows 2003 server installation
Otherwise, you can download the Smart Array Driver, load it up on a floppy disk and during the regular Microsoft Install, at the very beginning, press F6 and you will be prompted for drivers for additional mass storage devices (the Smart Array).

Re: ML350 and WIndows 2003 server installation
I had the HP helpdesk and they confirm me to dowload the 7.xx version of the smartstart software. But actually I have no time to do that...
I'll test the floppy and make a feedback there.
