ML350 G3 blue screening :Bug Check 0x000000d1 (0x00000009, 0x00000000, 0xbff3792d)
Help my recently installed ML35 G3 keeps on blue screening intermittently.
Ive checked the event viewer and it reads
Bug Check 0x000000d1 (0x00000009, 0x00000000, 0xbff3792d)
Nothing else is in the log that looks suspious :-(

Hi GLEN:
Do you have the latest firmware for that server.
Systems ROMPaq Firmware Upgrade Diskette for ProLiant ML350 G3 (D14) Servers
version 4.09 D14-06/23/2004 (16 Jul 04)
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/21272.html
It is very important to have this firmware; since it fixed issues with server reboot and blue screen.
Make sure you are using HP certified ram for that server. 0xD1 is general error ; could be a device driver; bad ram, or defective CPU,
Here is what the firmware will fix:
Intermittent issue which may manifest itself as a Windows blue screen, Linux kernel panic (kernel oops), or a system lock-up after which the OS is halted and requires a reboot. These OS problems may occur during installation of the HP ProLiant Support Pack (PSP) or anytime after installation. This problem is seen more frequently with higher speed processors.
The Windows blue screen failure code may vary but the most frequently observed bug check stop code values are as follows:
0x000000D1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
0x0000001E KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
0x0000000A IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
0x0000001A MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
0x000000C2 BAD_POOL_CALLER
0x0000007E SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
and the 0xD1 is Driver IRQL not less or Equal.
check what new hardware or updates have you installed since this error started. and Remove that hardware or drivers or software.
Best regards,
Tarek.
