ML350 G4 running on 1 processor
Hi,
I have a problem with ML350 G4.
Exactly, I have two of them - one with 2 processors, and second with one processor (it has 2 slots of course). First server is working properly, but the second not. I have an error 805 - Unsupported processor. NVRAM was reseted - the same. Battery was also disconnected - that not helped also.
Do you know, that there is a opportunity to run this computer on one processor ? If I should upgrade the BIOS, can you give me the download link for it.
I will be grateful for quick response.

Did you upgrade the (faulty) CPU and if so, is it supported or same specs as the CPU that is working?

Take out the "Unsupported processor" and you should be able to run on single processor.

Re: ML350 G4 running on 1 processor
I havent upgraded the processor - its original. The problem is, that I haven't got the second processor. I need to run it on one processor, and i'm getting this error. Do you maybe have a solution ?

Was the ML350 G4 server with the lone processor working earlier?
If not, then check the processor itself. (I don't advice it unless you have installed a CPU before) You would need to open the server; remove the heat sink to get to the CPU and read the details on the back of the CPU. The CPU you find may not be the original one. Find the ML350 G4 specs online and under the 'processors' subtitle (or see below) , check the details on your CPU to see it is supported.
Processors:
Intel® Xeon™ processors up to 3.6 GHz (dual processor capability) with 2MB level 2 cache; processors include support for Hyper-Threading
Intel® E7520 chipset 800-MHz front side bus
