ML350 Gen 10 emebed NIC doesn't work after last SPP update
Hi,
Since last SPP update, my network card integrated into the motherboard no longer works.
I don't know what to do, it was working before, what can I do?
If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear from you.
For information:
- SPP version: 2024.04.00.00.
- Data from the integrated network card do not appear in the ILO network section.
- Ilo dedicated network port work instead of the 4x1G one.
- No warrantly left.
- My OS is TrueNas Scale Dragonfish, unsupported true, but working until last SPP update, don't know why this SPP would break NIC.
Thanks

Re: ML350 Gen 10 emebed NIC doesn't work after last SPP update
Hi,
Lets not worry about the installed OS, but here are few things we can check outside of OS.
Restart the server and go into BIOS and see if the Embedded Network Ports are disabled/enabled.
You may also perform the Embedded Diagnostics.
You may also perform a NVRAM clearing procedure using S6 switch.
Thank You!

Re: ML350 Gen 10 emebed NIC doesn't work after last SPP update
@Suman_1978 Thanks to take of your time,
In bios, System Utilities > System Information > Summary > Network devices:
Network devices
I can't scroll down, it's like there is nothing.
I didn't find settings to enable or disable embedded network ports.
In system configuration I have only this:
In the diagnostics I have only memory and drive test, no errors:
S6 cleaning NVRAM:
After the S6 cleaning nothing change :(.
The physical ports led blinking.
The Ilo Network page.
I don't know what to do now.

Re: ML350 Gen 10 emebed NIC doesn't work after last SPP update
It is possible that TrueNas Scale Dragonfish does have compatibility issue with the latest Nic firmware. What you can try is to downgrade the firmware to its original state. If that does not work then upgrade the driver. Now to get the driver for this you might have to check with OS vendor.

You can check the revisions under revision history. Or use a service pack for proliant(Check component release notes) and then boot the server with the iso image. Then proceed to perform an interactive firmware update and downgrade the firmware.
