We purchased four ML350 Gen11 MR408i-o with 8SFF bay. We're trying to add a pair of 3.84 TB Seagate Nytro 5350M NVMe drives to two of them. (They are U.3) The LEDs flash rapidly when connected to the slots. But the system cannot detect them. We think we may be missing something in the UEFI settings. All four servers already have SATA RAID 1 setup and working fine with the P40498-B21 drives. But, neither of two of the servers can detect the NVMe drives.
Can anyone provide guidance on how to configure the MR408i-o controller in the UEFI for it to detect the Seagate drives?

SolutionFor others that may have a similar issue:
Unfortunately, I was able to get the definitive answer from a support agent. HPE servers look for an HPE digital signature on the drives. If the servers do not detect the HPE digital signature, it will not recognize the drives. So, the drives must be HPE branded and listed on the supported drive documentation for your specific server -- end of story. I was told that digital signatures were implemented since at least Gen 9 or Gen 8 servers.
