HI,
I bought a ml350 gen11 4lff 4410y in an online store in Switzerland.
On the storage controller cabling (https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=sd00002366en_us&page=GUID-C8A54573-2980-4788-BF62-8B86FE562413.html), the cable is blue (PCH port LP SlimSAS port 1).
I have an HPE NS204i-u Boot Device. The wiring diagram can be found on the page https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=sd00002366en_us&page=GUID-DF064A8D-AEFE-4286-A8F6-B9D28BCA9630.html
First question :
Can I plug the NS204i-u Boot Device into the PCH LP SlimSAS port 2 port (port 1 is busy).
Second question:
If I want to put a box 2 (storage), how does that work for the wiring?
Regards

SolutionYes, you can plug the NS204i-u Boot Device into the PCH LP SlimSAS port 2 port even if port 1 is busy. For the second question, the server supports various cable kits for different configurations, such as the HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen11 LFF SAS/SATA PCIe Controller Cable Kit (P47227-B21) and the HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen11 SFF Tri-Mode PCIe Controller Cable Kit (P47233-B21), which support up to 3x 4LFF drive cages and up to 3x 8SFF drive cages respectively with HPE stand-up PCIe storage controller.
