ml350 proliant dose not read corect size memory

i have a ml350 g3 i put two one gig chips in it pc 2100 ecc thay only post at 512 and no more, i did a memory check, erase the bios,
system is stable, it just will not report the corect size of memory dose any one have a clue what might be the prob

i forgot it has the latest bios,
and all the firmware has been upgraded,
the bios was restet to defaults, no help
i have try all the slots all the same out come,

Use the System maintainence switch on the system board to clear the NVRAM;

that server can tun only with one memory did you get also 512 on POST using one memory at a time?

pc was reset by mantance switch no help even try to remove the battery
i did try only useing one stick no help still reads it as 512 not 1 gig,
memory test even tested it as 512 with no errors, i server unable to read the full one gig, i also try to use the back up bios witch is a year older still same prob HELP !!!!

Well, is it really a 1 GB DIMM ?
where did you get this ?
If its a 3rd party DIMM, try www.memtest86.com

If all Diagnostics are ok; & diags reported it 512.. then I think it is 512... n not 1GB.

the stickers says one gig and i was told
thay poseted one gig on another system
thinking you might be right throw

In which slots do you populate the DIMMS? Are you sure that all of them are really working?
