ML370G4 with Adaptec 1430SA : DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

After adding Adaptec AAR-1430SA in ML370 (379908-421)server, get BSOD: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL...... aar81xxx.sys in Windows 2008 any version.
Booting from hp smart array 641 raid controller to w2k3r2sp2 with adaptec 1430SA installed, I can make partition etc on the raid-1 config on the adaptec 1430-SA.
Install w2k8 gives no error in logs (could verify this by booting into w2k3 and searching on the new boot partition on the 1430sa. but starting this gives BSOD.

According to Adaptec This controller should work:

Updated Adaptec BIOS to Build 2329 and used latest driver: 1420SA and 1430SA 64-bit Driver Ver. 1.5.11989 for Windows Server 2008, Microsoft certified.

AnyOne? getting pretty desperate..

Couldn't get this config to boot of the adaptec. Now installed w2k8 on raid 1 set of 2x 36Gb SCSI. Booting fine now, just not able to install sbs2008 to it because of the lack of diskspace on the boot partition.
Added driver and w2k8 works with the adaptec just refuses to boot...
