ML530: Error 106 - Unsupported PCI Card
Hi,
i've got a ML530 and need a PCMCIA Slot for an application dongle. I bought a cardbus-contoller with Ricoh R5C476II Chipset. At start of the proliant there is the error: 106 - Unsupported PCI Card detected. PCI Card uninitializied. In the Windows 2000 Hardware Manager the Card is detected, but marked with an yellow !, because there are no resources assigned to the card. The Compaq System Utilities say the card has got a wrong/new PCI-Header (is only the poor translation of the german error message). There are no problems with a Compaq or HP Desktop PC.
Is there a way to use this card in the server, or at least an other cardbus controller??
BTW: There are the same problems with a DL320.
Thanks in advance!
Daniel Paul
