ML530 G2 Raid Setup
Hi, I have Windows Server 2000 running on a single 17GB drive. I recently noticed that it should be mirroring to a second 17GB drive, but this has not been set up. If I set up the mirror now, how do I determine which drive will be the master drive? (or, how do I make sure Windows gets written to the blank drive, not the other way around?). Thanks for your advice.

Re: ML530 G2 Raid Setup
That disk is in a Smart Array in RAID 0 now? Then you can use ACU to add the second disk to the RAID, and then migrate the logical drive to RAID 1.
If you're talking about software RAID, the question should go to Windows forum.
