ML530 won't restart after planned shutdown

Today maintenance was undertaken on our server rooms meaning that our servers were without power for almost 10 hours, though were closed down properly. On rebooting our main file server a ML530 would not allow me to log on, stating that I did not have permission to logon local, sorry did not write down exact message.
The server powers up but on the memory modules the lights flash briefly then all go out.
Any ideas?

This is the error message you get when you try to login to Windows right? Is this server a member of a domain? If so, are you using the same credentials to login to the domain from every server?

The behavior of the memory modules appears to be correct.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..
